Hello, I’m Catherine. Already as a child, I was someone who thought a lot about God and the world. When I was born, I belonged to the Orthodox church, just like my parents. No-one asked me what I wanted, just like it happens to many other people. Almost all of us are born into a religion. My teacher was also the village priest. I participated in all of the rituals, I lit candles, made the sign of the cross, kissed images – but I really didn’t have any idea about God. As a teenager I thought that if I got married and had lots of money, I would be happy. How many people think like that? I got married at 19, I had everything but I was very unhappy, very depressed, I wanted to die. Why live? Why carry on like that? You can have everything but be miserable. All of your dreams fall apart, you’re at rock bottom.

On Christmas Eve 1985, I fell on my knees and said: “God, if you exist???” I didn’t expect anything, but it was late at night and so I wanted to go to bed. At that instant, God showed me something. It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but for the first time in my life I became conscious of the fact that there was another world which hadn’t existed for me until then. I began to trust God, but I still didn’t really know who this God was.    

A few months later, I went to the Salvation Army to see a film. After the film, the preacher clearly declared the Gospel, namely: that Jesus Christ went to the Cross for my sins, for our sins, but that I was not automatically saved by that! I had to accept that gift, then I would be saved and I would be forgiven. I had always thought that I was a Christian because I had grown up as an Orthodox. Now, however, it became clear to me that I wasn’t a Christian, and that I still had to become one. I went home, asked God for forgiveness for my sins and invited Jesus Christ into my life! And since that day, a completely new life began. No more depressions, I was and am free!    

Being a Christian means that I follow Jesus Christ. How many people who call themselves Christians actually follow Jesus Christ? Most of them live a lie. They think they are saved and yet they are lost forever, because they have a religion, but not a personal relationship to a personal God. Today, I can say with conviction and certainty that I know God my Creator, Jesus Christ my Redeemer, the Holy Spirit my comforter, very well. It is a wonderful and living relationship, not a dead religion and tradition.    

I then began to read my Bible. I said: “God, this is your Word, whether I understand it or not, whether I like it or not, I accept it as your Word.” So God began to give me answers to all of my questions which I had throughout my life. Who doesn‘t have questions? Almost all people have the same questions and I want to answer those questions on this website.

Later, I saw Jesus in a vision, but also the Devil. There is another world which is absolutely real: God-Satan, angels-demons, heaven-hell, light-darkness. We are separated from God by Adam and Eve’s fall, but also through our sins, we are on the road to hell but God calls us back, that’s why the Bible says in 1 John 1, verse 8-9: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.    

Confess your sins and save yourself from God’s judgment, which will come upon this earth, but also the Last Judgment, because you are on the way to hell!    

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16    

Religion can’t save you, because religion is not from God but from the Devil. It’s his best invention. God himself became a man two thousand years ago; he nailed your sins on the Cross so that you wouldn’t have to bear them. Accept that gift!      

Pray: Father in Heaven, thank you for your love. Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you went to the cross for me and for my sins. Forgive me my sins: all sexual sins, all idolatry, all wrongdoing, all occult sins (if you have been to fortune tellers, spiritual healers, mediums etc.). Lord Jesus cleanse me through your blood. I would like to forgive all those who have hurt me. I consciously separate myself from all of my forefathers’ sins; I want nothing to do with those. Break every curse over my life. Fill me with your Spirit, give me the strength to lead a pure life and be a witness of Jesus Christ. Amen.    

Are you Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, etc.? You need salvation. Return to your Creator Jesus Christ, be baptized in the Name of Jesus, read the bible, search for some people, who love Jesus and rejoice in eternity with your God.
